Increasing your Financial IQ

Further Steps to Slow the Spread

Dear Member,

Governor Holcomb issued an executive order to “stay at home” for Hoosiers to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Within that order, Financial Institutions were listed as essential service providers and directed to remain open. Rest assured that Centra will continue to remain open and available to meet your financial needs during this time of uncertainty.

To help do that, we are making some changes to our operating schedule. Effective tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, we are making changes to our operating schedules so that we’re able to further promote social distancing within our branch locations. This step also helps ensure we can continue to serve you during this unprecedented situation.

Beginning Thursday, March 26, hours for Centra branches will be adjusted to the following:

Monday – Friday: 10 am – 5 pm

Saturday: 9 am – 12 pm

Sunday: Closed

A few of our other branches will be operating a little differently, so please be sure to monitor our Coronavirus Updates for the latest information. We will continually evaluate our situation and will continue to keep you informed as we move forward. Additionally, our Contact Center and Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) Contact Center Teams will operate on a new schedule as well.

Beginning Thursday, March 26, the Contact Center and Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) Teams will be available:

Monday – Friday: 9 am – 6 pm

Saturday: 9 am – 1 pm

We will continue to meet Members in the branch lobbies by appointment, and we will regularly be sanitizing and cleaning our branches to protect the health of our Members and Team Members. Our drive-thru facilities will also remain open during these temporarily adjusted hours and will operate as they always have. You will also continue to have 24/7 access to your accounts through Online and Mobile BankingCentraPhone, and our network of more than 30,000 ATMs.

As a Credit Union, our sole reason for existence is to serve you, our Members, and we will continue to adhere to the idea of “People Helping People.” Our hearts go out to all our Members who have been adversely impacted, and we are doing everything we can to support you with Financial Relief Options. We are also available to work with you on your individual needs, whether that is related to payments, deposits, fees, or credit.

Centra will continue to navigate the situation and will, as we have for nearly eighty years, always be on the lookout for ways that we can help you manage your money. We appreciate your understanding as we work together to try to halt the spread of this virus.

Thank you,

Rick Silvers
