Centra President and CEO Rick Silvers receives Professional Achievement Award

Centra President and CEO Rick Silvers received the prestigious Professional Achievement Award from the Indiana Credit Union League (ICUL) on October 3, 2025. This distinguished honor recognizes Indiana credit union leaders for their professional accomplishments, dedication to the credit union movement, and significant contributions to both their credit union and the communities they serve.

“I’m deeply honored to receive the Professional Achievement Award from the Indiana Credit Union League,” Rick said. “After more than a decade in this industry, I continue to be inspired by the incredible impact credit unions have on their communities. This recognition truly belongs to the more than 440 dedicated Team Members who diligently serve Members every day. Thank you for this meaningful honor.”

Under Rick’s leadership, Centra has continued to grow and thrive, staying true to our vision of creating value for our Members, Team Members, and the Communities we serve. Since being appointed President and CEO in 2016, Rick has guided Centra through a period of remarkable progress and recognition.

During his tenure, Centra has seen more than 67% organic asset growth, earned the prestigious Juntos Avanzamos designation from Inclusiv, and was recognized as one of America’s Best Credit Unions by Forbes in 2022, 2024, and 2025. We’ve also received multiple awards from the ICUL in previous years for our commitment to financial literacy and community impact. These are just a few examples of the continued success Centra has experienced under Rick’s leadership.
