March 2024: A letter from the President

Dear Members,

As I look to the calendar, it’s a little hard to believe we’re already in the latter part of the first quarter. Seeing the progress we’ve already made, I’m excited to share some fantastic improvements our Members can experience in 2024.

First, I’m proud to share that 78 of our Team Members have recently achieved their Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation. This means when you need support, our Team Members have the tools and knowledge to help. You can make an appointment at one of our service centers to discuss your personal financial situation, and our Team Members can help you determine the best way to reach your objectives.

Next, we’ve recently enhanced our home equity line of credit (HELOC) to provide you greater control. Our new Flex HELOC allows you to fix the interest rate and payment on a portion of your outstanding balance, choosing the length of your repayment period, while maintaining the convenience and anytime utilization of a line of credit. You can learn more details regarding the functionality here.

Finally, you’ll also see some improvements that help protect our Members and their accounts. We recently implemented automated fraud alerts for our credit cards so our Members receive prompt notifications and can let us know if the flagged transaction was authorized or not. If you’ve not already done so, we encourage Members to consider adding text alerts as yet one more way to monitor account activity. For our business Members, we’ve added positive pay as a service that helps detect fraudulent checks.

In addition to these benefits you can experience now, we’re also looking forward to opening our Lebanon and Zionsville locations in the coming months. We’ll continue to share exciting updates about your Credit Union’s progress throughout the year.
