May 2024: A letter from the President

Dear Members,

I hope you’ll join me in wishing a warm welcome to our new Members from NorthPark Community Credit Union! In the latter half of April, our teams came together to complete the integration process after months of preparation and testing. During conversion weekend, our new Members were successfully integrated into Centra’s systems. I’d like to thank our Members for their patience during this process as well as our Team Members for their hard work and dedication to ensuring a smooth transition.

We’re also nearing completion on the refurbishment of the former NorthPark location in Lebanon and will be reopening as Centra on May 13. Then, the Zionsville service center will open as Centra later this summer. Please follow Centra on Facebook to stay up to date on the opening of these locations and watch for our grand opening announcements.

While we were working on account conversion and branch refurbishment, our Onward initiative was building on NorthPark’s success in the area of financial education. Onward with Centra Credit Union is a new division that’s dedicated to providing unbiased financial education as well as delivering products that aren’t readily available to the unbanked or underbanked individuals in our Communities. This ensures everyone is provided both the opportunity and resources for true financial empowerment.

Onward with Centra focuses on four key steps: Financial education through group workshops; personal training provided to individuals to apply what they learn to their current situation; ongoing financial coaching provided by a member of the Onward team to set goals and move through the financial decisions and steps necessary; and accountability support to remain on target to meet their goals.
