January 2024: A letter from the President
Dear Members,
Happy New Year! I’d like to start this letter off by welcoming our new Members from NorthPark Community Credit Union. We’re excited to have NorthPark’s Members and Team Members joining the Centra family! Also, we’re equally excited about the opportunity to re-open NorthPark’s branch locations in both Lebanon and Zionsville later this year.
Next, now that 2023 has come to a close, Centra is officially halfway through our four-year 4 The Future strategic plan. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and look forward to what’s still to come. Our 4 The Future plan focuses on four strategic tenets: Organizational Health, Operational Excellence, Member Experience, and Team Member Experience. A critical component of these tenets is process improvement. Our efforts to reduce processing time creates efficiencies for our Members and savings for your Credit Union. Another critical component of these tenets is safety and soundness. I have previously referenced Centra’s 5-star Bauer rating and am proud to announce that we continue to be a five-star rated Credit Union, a rating we have enjoyed each consecutive quarter since 1995.
Our continuous efforts in Member and Team Member Experience are largely driven by the feedback we receive through various Member contact channels, but especially through our surveys. Each survey response is reviewed by several teams across the organization, and we evaluate each opportunity to determine the best course of action. I’d like to give my deepest thanks to those of you who take the time to engage with Centra, both through any survey requests you receive as well as through the regular use of our products and services.
Finally, as we move into the new year, it’s an excellent time to review and update your financial goals.
