Centra Community Easter Egg Hunt Recap

Easter Egg Hunts mean searching for brightly-colored plastic eggs filled with candy and hoping at least some have your favorites in them, right? Wrong. At the Centra Community Easter Egg Hunt last weekend, the eggs to find were those with prize slips in them for fun prizes like bubbles, kites, sidewalk chalk and more (and most children got at least one prize). The Easter Bunny truly outdid himself for Centra this year!

Speaking of the Easter Bunny – he made an appearance at the Centra Community Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny was so excited to see all the children and even posed for pictures. He gave hugs and high-fives to all!

There were Easter Egg Hunts for three different age groups this weekend – 2-4, 5-7 and 8-10. The hunts were held minutes apart from each other so families with multiple children could go to the appropriate event for each child. Breaking the Easter Egg Hunts up into age groups made the competition appropriate for everyone.

We are so thankful for the more than 200 children who attended the Centra Easter Egg Hunt with their parents this year. And, of course, we could not have pulled it off without the help of lots of generous Centra volunteers.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Easter Egg Hunt! If you didn’t get to join us this year, stay tuned to our Facebook page for next year. This is one Easter Egg Hunt you definitely don’t want to miss!
