Spring your savings forward with Cashback Checking
As the warmer months approach and the temps rise, so can your savings account. With Centra’s Cashback Checking, that is! Whether you’re building an emergency savings or planning to go on a trip with some friends this summer, Cashback Checking could help give a little boost to your savings goal!
What’s Cashback Checking?
Cashback Checking is one of Centra’s main checking accounts and offers Members unlimited cash rewards based on how much they use their account. Cashback Checking has three tiers, each with similar benefits, but the higher you go, the more cash rewards you’ll receive at the end of each month! Members can earn up to $0.07 for each time they use their debit card depending on their tier.
Where do my cashback rewards go?
All cash rewards from using your Cashback Checking get automatically deposited into your Member Loyalty Account (also known as an MLA). Your MLA functions as a reward in itself thanks to its higher interest rate! The longer you keep your money in your MLA, the more it’ll grow.
Why should I open a Cashback Checking account?
With the rising cost of goods and services, it can be a challenge for some individuals to start building and maintaining a savings. One of the reasons we created Member Loyalty Rewards and Cashback Checking was to not only reward our Members, but to also take some of the work out of paying yourself first.
You can also sign up for Debit Card Round Up to add even more to your MLA. With Round Up, you’ll automatically round up each transaction you make with your debit card to the nearest dollar. For example, if you bought an iced coffee for $5.50, your purchase will automatically be rounded up to $6. That extra $0.50 will then be transferred from your checking account into your MLA.
Banking doesn’t have to be basic. Our Members deserve quality banking products and services that help them meet their financial goals and needs. When you open a Cashback Checking account with Centra, you’re rewarding yourself without lifting a finger. Well, except to reach for your debit card, of course.
