Team Member Nominated Donations
As a credit union of People Helping People, we’re always looking for creative ways to provide our support. That’s why we came up with Team Member Nominated Donations. This program gives our Team Members the opportunity to have a voice in where Centra gives back. Each year, numerous nonprofit organizations receive a $2,500 grant to help further the valuable support they provide to the Communities we call home.
How it works
We love giving our Team Members the chance to have a voice in the organization’s Centra supports in our Communities. This program helps us live out our vision of creating value for the Communities Centra serves within the Centra Foundation’s impact areas of focus: financial empowerment, scholarships, career development, social responsibility, and emergent community needs.
Since the beginning of our program in 2017, we’ve granted more than $840,000 directly to non-profit organizations, nominated by our Team Members, across Centra’s footprint to support programs that fit into our impact areas. These programs are the backbone of thriving communities, and we’re proud to provide support for the valuable work they do.
