FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Centra Continues to Grow in River Ridge
Centra Credit Union recently announced a spring 2015 opening date for its newest branch in Southern Indiana. The new location will create more full-time positions to add to Centra’s nearly 300 person workforce in southern and central Indiana.
This expansion will be a part of the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville, a redevelopment of the former Indiana Army Ammunition Plant. Chris Bottorff, Centra’s Southern Region President, believes this was the right partnership for Centra’s newest location.
“We’re so pleased to be a part of this award-winning new development in our community. Centra has outpaced national growth trends, and we look forward to another very positive year of growth and expansion ahead,” Bottorff said.
The River Ridge expansion fits in with Centra’s overall goals as a community chartered credit union. The not-for-profit financial institution focuses on community partnerships that promote economic growth in the areas it serves.
“Centra is pleased to play a major role in providing financial services in southern Indiana, and we obviously intend to continue to be highly vested in this community,” Bottorff said.
River Ridge, an industrial and distribution park along Indiana Highway 62, has been nominated for an International Economic Development Council “Excellence in Economic Development Award.” Amazon, American Fuji Seal, and UTC Aerospace Systems are among the companies with operations already located in River Ridge.
