March 2026: A letter from the President

Estimados diputados,

As we prepare to move forward into the second quarter of the year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on some significant milestones for Centra and share what lies ahead.

First, I enjoyed meeting local Members and community dignitaries at the grand opening celebration for our relocated branch in New Albany. The move from 710 Northwest Ordinance Lane to 804 Hausfeldt Lane represents more than a change in address. It reflects our ongoing commitment to improving convenience, accessibility, and the overall Member experience. The new location offers benefits such as expanded lobby space, ample parking, and access to two Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). Early feedback from Members and the local community has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re grateful for your patience and support throughout the transition.

Looking forward, I’m excited to announce that plans are underway for the relocation of our Seymour location, with construction scheduled to commence later this year. This project aligns with our long‑term strategy to ensure we’re meeting the evolving needs of our Membership. We look forward to sharing more details soon, so be sure to stay on the lookout for further communication.

I’m also proud to highlight that Centra issued a special dividend payout totaling more than $1.5 million to eligible Members in February, which I mentioned in my January letter. Since the inception of Centra’s Member Loyalty Rewards program, we’ve paid out more than $6 million in Member Loyalty Bonuses. These continue to reflect the strong financial position of our Credit Union and our commitment to returning value directly to our stakeholders. As a Member‑owned not-for-profit financial institution, your trust and engagement enable us to reinvest in you through new products, services, cash rewards, and much more.

Furthermore, as part of our ongoing Imagine the Possibilities strategic plan, our organization is dedicated to making steady progress on several initiatives aimed at solidifying Centra’s long-term foundation. You can be sure that more updates will be shared with you as the year progresses.
